Award winners after the smashing victory of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2017 finale

IPL 2017, with all the interesting twists and turns, came to an end with the victory of Mumbai Indians against Rising Pune Supergiant. The team won the title by 1 run in the grand final held at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium, Hyderabad. This victory made Mumbai Indians the first team to win 3 IPL cups. Skipper Rohit Sharma craved his name by becoming the first player to triumph 4 IPL trophies and the first captain to triumph 3 IPLs.

Mumbai scored 129/8 in 20 overs by opting to bat first and setting a target of 130 for Pune. The chase was started well by Pune but the bowlers of Mumbai managed to block the flow of runs in the middle overs and took over the game by 1 run.
