The Cleveland Cavaliers are the latest team to express interest in Kentucky Wildcats head coach John Calipari.
According to Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio, the Cavs are looking into if they could possibly bring Calipari from the college ranks to the NBA.
This, after Cleveland fired Mike Brown on Tuesday after a tumultuous 33-49 season after they’d seemingly constructed a team capable of making it to the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Brown had four years remaining on his $20 million contract. Brown was fired last year by the Lakers five games into his second season.
This is just one of many rumors that have happened over Cal’s tenure at UK, and until he actually expresses interest in one of them, they will remain nothing more than rumors and speculation.
