Unfortunately there will be no games of Yahtzee taking place in the Bluegrass today as Ohio four-star wide receiver Derek Kief opted for Alabama over Kentucky and Ohio State.
Although the Cats did not receive Kief’s commitment, the fact that they were in the final three of a recruiting battle against Alabama and Ohio State feels like a minor victory and a definite sign that Stoops and company are headed in the right direction.
Even without Kief, Kentucky should see a good influx of talent at the wide receiver position in 2014. The Cats already have four-star wide receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass in the fold with a number of great options still on the board, including four-star Blake Bone, four-star Braxton Berrios and three-star T.V. Williams.
Williams announced today that he will be making his commitment on July 9. He is a 5’9″ speedster from McKinney, Texas who is considered to be a Kentucky lean.
JULY 9TH 6:30-7:00 PM AT MCKINNEY HIGH SCHOOL I WILL BE COMMITTING AND EVERYBODY IS INVITED!!!!!!!!!!!!
