The LSU Tigers, Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs Kentucky Wildcats and Alabama Crimson Tide fans won’t have to wait much longer to learn the future of their top remaining offensive line targets.
George Brown Jr. had previously planned to announce his decision on his birthday, October 28, but has since scheduled his commitment date for July 25th. Now, we know when and where it will be taking place, and who will be among his five finalists.

Brown had previously narrowed his list down to eight schools: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Missouri, Oklahoma and Virginia Tech.
TThe Wildcats have been viewed as the heavy favorites for some time now. Brown spoke highly of UK and the coaching staff in an interview with Rivals.com’s Josh Hemholdt.
“Kentucky is up there,” Brown said. “I like them a lot, have a good relationship with Coach (Mark) Stoops, Coach (Vince) Marrow and Coach (John) Schlarman and also a lot of the players that are up there already.”
It’s also pretty clear that Brown would like to play in the SEC, as evidenced by his five finalists.
“I want to play against the best and right now the SEC is the best conference,” he added.
Brown is slotted as the No. 13 offensive tackle and No. 118 player overall, according to Rivals.
