Since the arrival of Mark Stoops, college football discussions have been at an all-time high in the Bluegrass. A recent study at Emory University backs this up.
The folks in Emory’s Sports Marketing program ran an analysis on Twitter over the past 6 months to determine which states had been discussing college football the most.
It turned out that Kentucky ranked among the top nine states in the analysis, placing somewhere in the 84th to 100th percentile, along with the likes of Idaho, Nebraska, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, West Virginia and South Carolina.
The top five were Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, South Carolina and West Virginia — in that order.
Kentucky football has been picking up a lot of momentum over the past few months and the results are beginning to show.
