The Cincinnati Bengals today signed free agent offensive lineman Chandler Burden. A former Kentucky Wildcats lineman and Cincinnati native (Blue Ash, Ohio), Burden is getting another shot at the NFL.
Burden (6-4, 310) is classified a first-year NFL player. He spent much of the 2013 NFL season on the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad. He spent six weeks on the practice squad before he was released Nov. 12. Burden was later re-signed to the squad in November, but was later waived again on May 28.
He entered the NFL in May of 2012 as a college free agent with the Tennessee Titans and spent the ’12 season on the Miami Dolphins practice squad. He was waived by the Dolphins in the 2013 preseason.
