The Cleveland Cavaliers outlined potential trade scenarios involving Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love with Rich Paul, LeBron James’ agent, two sources told FOX Sports Ohio.
The Cavs expressed to Paul that, after their discussions with the Timberwolves, doing a deal “would not be easy,” according to one source.
That source also expressed that the Cavs were reluctant to include No. 1 overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins in any potential deal.
Though nothing from James or his camp regarding his free-agency desires has been said on the record, the Cavaliers are believed to be one of the main contenders to land the four-time NBA MVP.
The Cleveland Cavaliers could be on the verge of shipping Andre Wiggins to the Minnesota Timberwolves for All-NBA forward Kevin Love. This, according to multiple media reports:

Source says Cavs also “pursuing a big.” Won’t give names, but hearing from other sources outside organization that “big” is Kevin Love. — Sam Amico (@SamAmicoFSO) July 9, 2014
Cavs don’t appear dead set on trading for/signing any of guys I mentioned (Allen, Miller, Love). Sense is they want to show LeBron they can.

Not so fast says Steve Kyler of the Basketball Insiders:
There is stuff floating around on twitter suggesting Cavs have a trade in place for Kevin Love source close to process called it "Nonsense"

The Cavs have enough space to sign both Love and LeBron James now that they’ve gotten rid of Jarrett Jack’s contract. So far, the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers have been linked to Love. No one may have most assets to acquire Love than the Cavs, who reportedly were close to getting him in exchange for the no. 1 overall pick.
The Boston Celtics were trying hard to trade for Love in order to not only become a legitimate playoff contender, but also to appease star point guard Rajon Rondo.
They appeared to be the favorites for awhile now, but it looks like the Cavs are now the front-runners to land the talented big man. The Cavs do have a nice backup plan in place to get another star if LeBron spurns them again:
Hearing Cavs have strong interest in Rockets RFA Chandler Parsons if LeBron elects to stay to Miami. Parsons said to be next-in-line target
