The Denver Broncos have enjoyed having former Kentucky Wildcats great Wesley Woodyard leading their linebacking crops. Having him paired alongside former Cat Danny Trevathan has made the Broncos the favorite NFL team of many UK fans.
It doesn’t look as though those two will play together any longer, as Woodyard is reportedly signing a deal with the Tennesse Titans:

The Dallas Cowboys and New Engalnd Patriots also showed interest.
Woodyard compiled 84 tackles, three forced fumbles and four pass breakups in 2013. In the past two seasons, Woodyard has four interceptions and is regarded as one of the best coverage outside linebackers there are.
It’s nice to see Woodyard get a nice payday after tasking the hard road to the NFL after being undrafted in 2008. Not only that, but he’ll be playing just three hours from Lexington, so there’s probably a number of UK/Titans fans who are thrilled right now.
